A Positive Climate #Wrapped: 2021 in Review with Alex and Nick

Alex and Nick wrap up 2021 and the end of our second season with a wide ranging chat: the current state of cleantech, some BOLD predictions about the future, the zaniest climate solutions of 2021 and what we’re excited about for 2022!

We cover a lot on this episode:

  • Australia’s opportunity to be a renewable energy superpower;
  • the hydrogen economy;
  • when we might get to high levels of EV uptake;
  • what our dinner plates might look like in 2025;
  • Our favourite moments of Season 1 and 2;
  • Cleantech startup success stories from 2021; and
  • the positive mood at the end of the year around Australian cleantech startups.

Alex also briefly talks about cows urinating and Nick covers bees offering pollination as a service.

It's been a huge year and we couldn’t be more proud of the growth of this little podcast in such a short space of time. A HUGE thank you to all our loyal listeners for your continued support. We look forward to bringing you even more great episodes in 2022!

About the podcast

Climate change is the greatest challenge facing humanity. The consequences are so dire that the media usually focuses on the negative and many of us have no idea where to begin.

To flip the script, clean energy experts Alex McIntosh and Nick Zeltzer host A Positive Climate, an uplifting podcast focused on ways to tackle climate change.

If you want to be inspired by interviews with some of Australia’s most innovative people, if you want to learn a lot (and laugh a little) and if you want a way to leave your climate related existential crises at bay, this podcast is for you.
